Rail bike in Aabenraa

Experience nature in a completely new way - rent a rail bike.

An activity and experience for the whole family. The
route of approx. 5 km runs from the old railway station in Aabenraa to Rise at Rødekro and is among the most
beautiful railway lines in Denmark. The rail bikes are easy to pedal, and they have room for max. 2 adults and 1
child. Persons under the age of 15 may not ride a railbike alone.
Bicycles are rented for a period of max. 2 hours and the leases start at 11.00, 13.00 and 15.00. Meeting time is
15 minutes before the rental starts.

At Rise is a rest area with tables and benches. Waste must be taken back by the user himself and disposed of in
approved containers.
Please follow the instructions given by an employee when handing over the bike.

The price is DKK 100.00 per. bike for 2 hours. Last online order 24 hours before departure..

ON ARRIVAL AT THE RAILWAY YARD
1. Proof of the tenancy must be presented
2. The rail bike is delivered at the time you ordered
3. The rail bike is returned no later than 1 hour and 45 minutes after delivery
4. Remember to calculate time to be able to come back in a suitable time
5. The trip to Rise is approx. 5 km long, but you can turn around whenever you want
SECURITY
7. The rail bike must be treated properly and moved at a calm pace.
8. The rail bike is intended for max. 2 adults and 1 child.
9. The route is crossed by public road; please get off the bike and pull the rail bike across the road.
10. Remember to keep a good distance from the rail bike in front of at least 20 meters and drive slowly. This way
you avoid a derailment and can enjoy the trip and the beautiful nature along the track.
11. Safety barriers on the route must be respected.
12. On arrival back at railway-yard, the rail bike is placed in front of the shed, facing the direction of travel.
13. Driving and staying on our track area and railway line is at your own risk.
