Pinnebergheim

Holiday Apartments | Pinnebergheim is a former school camp whose history dates all the way back to 1920.

Today the building has been carefully restored and has a number of rooms with own bathroom and toilet, a lovely little apartment with 2 double rooms, kitchen and living room, as well as traditional 6-bunk “school camp rooms” with bathroom and toilet in the corridor.
Pinnebergheim faces directly onto the area’s best bathing beach and has a fantastic view out over the water. The area is also in the middle of a large cluster of holiday homes – which has also been a favourite destination for the citizens of Haderslev over the years. The house has been under German ownership for several generations and therefore contains plenty of interesting history to explore. A small café – CAFÉ Pinnebergheim – is also run from here, which serves delicious, simple dishes prepared from local ingredients. It’s also from here that food is served if your stay includes meals.
We’re situated around 50 km from the Danish/German border – right in the middle of Camino Haderslev Næs, which is a 108-km-long hiking route through the region’s picturesque landscape. The cathedral city of Haderslev, which boasts a wealth of small shops and a historic quarter, is just 10 km away; nor is it far to the island of Årø or the town of Christiansfeld, which is on UNESCO’s list of world heritage sites.
