On tour with the night watchmen in Aabenraa’s streets at Christmas

Aabenraa’s night watchmen invite you on a historical tour of Aabenraa’s streets that have been decorated for Christmas, where you can listen to stories such as that of psychic Maid Fanny and her connection to the town.

In November and December, Aabenraa gets ready for Christmas. Combine a stay in Aabenraa with a historical tour through Aabenraa’s old alleyways and streets and listen to the night watchmen, dressed in uniform and holding a morning star, telling stories about how they used to have to enforce law and order in the town.

The tours start at the entrance road to Brundlund Castle and end down at the night watchmen square, where the night watchmen used to live.

The guided tours are in Danish.
