The Wadden Sea Bus
Every Wednesday and Thursday from July to the end of October you can go on a trip around the Wadden Sea National Park. On the bus there is a guide who will inform you of the sights along the way. There will be plenty of opportunities to get off the bus and see the sights.
Every Wednesday: Wadden Sea National Park by bus, departure from Tønder
The tour will introduce you to the vigorous tide area with huges flocks of birds fighting with hungry predators, a matter of life and death. Join us on a little walk out into the Wadden Sea at low tide with the dynamic nature and the ever changing sea level with a difference of 2 meters in only 6 hours. We will tell you about locks, dikes, polders and the characteristic houses built on artificial mounds. On the island of Rømø we visit the Sea Captain´s House, a well preserved whaler´s home from the 18th century, and of course we also visit Lakolk, the widest sandy beach in Europe.

A visit in the idyllic village, Møgeltønder, with Schackenborg Castle and the Golden Horns from the Iron Age is a must.
