Ticket to Marsk Tower
146 steps to the top – 36 metres above sea level – Experience the marsh from on high.
As you approach the Skærbæk region, Marsk Tower becomes easily visible on the horizon. From the top of the tower, you have a spectacular 360-degree view of the beautiful marshland and can feel the fresh wind blowing in off the North Sea. When the weather’s clear, you can enjoy the view all the way to the town of Ribe and the islands of Rømø and Sylt.
The 25-metre-high tower is designed by Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) and inspired by nature’s twisted structure and the characteristic human DNA strand. It’s both a sculpture and an observation tower, shaped like a double helix and designed in such a way that there’s only one way up and another way down. A lift that provides disabled access has been installed, so everyone can get to the top and experience the sea and the sky as they blend into one. If you need to use the disabled lift, then you must contact reception in order to book a time. You can call Marsk Camp reception on +45 72 18 67 80.
NB: In the event of stormy conditions and strong gusts of wind, the tower will be closed for safety reasons.
NB: Dogs are not allowed in the tower.
