Oyster trip in the Wadden Sea – Gourmet experience with delightful drive in a tractor bus.

At low tide we walk out together onto the vast tidal flats, where you can “stretch” your eyes and enjoy the superb scenery. We find the good oyster banks and collect delicious fresh oysters right from the “source”. We take the chance to enjoy the first fresh oysters on the tidal flats, but still have the rest of the culinary journey in the fire hut at Tønnisgård to look forward to. Here we’ll prepare the oysters au gratin with different ingredients in our stone oven and enjoy them with some local sparkling wine.

You’re in good hands with us. Together with our experienced guides, you can head out onto the tidal flats to the oyster banks and enjoy complete peace of mind. The trip starts at Naturcenter Tønnisgård and lasts around 4 hours. We drive in a tractor bus (5 km) to Juvrediget and then walk the last section from here to the oyster banks (2 km), before heading back again.
Remember to dress according to the weather. Bring gloves, bucket and wellington boots.
