SUP Yoga beginner lessons

In SUP Yoga the board is your yoga mat on water. SUP Yoga activates all your muscles and challenges both balance, concentration and patience. Our primary focus in SUP Yoga for beginners is seated and lying postures.

But if you are seeking additional balancing challenges, we can also guide you into standing postures. The lesson is provided by a certified SUP Yoga instructor.

SUP Yoga can be done without falling into the water. It is not a prerequisite to have any experience with neither yoga or SUP. There will be a short introduction to yoga on the board on land in the beginning of the lesson. SUP Yoga is done in shallow water, but it is a requirement that you are able to swim.

For the lesson you need to bring:
• Towel, swim or sports wear (fast drying), cap and sunscreen
• Water and snacks
• A smile and an open mind :)

Practical information:
Duration: 1,5 hours (incl. a short introduction to SUP yoga, anchorage, meditation, yoga and relaxation on the water.
Price: 250 kr. (incl. board, leash, paddle, anchor, life jacket)
Wetsuit rent: 50 kr. (optional, recommended in spring and fall)
Minimum age: 16 years
Location: Sønderborg Marina
Meeting point: at the Blue Flag station at the Marina – aim for the blue flag in the flag pole

Depending on the nationality of the participants, the lesson is done in either Danish or English.

There is access to changing room and toilet.
Free parking in a distance of just a few hundred meters from the location

If the weather forecast change, in some occasions we might have to cancel the lesson due to safety reasons. If the lesson is cancelled, a full refund will be provided. You can also choose to reschedule your booking.
It requires a minimum of four persons for the lesson to be held.
