Coffee and Cake – The Southern Jutlandic Way at Gram Castle

Enjoy a selection of 7 soft cakes, 7 dry cakes and 7 hard cakes, like they did in the end of the 1800 and the beginning of the 1900.

This Southern Jutlandic tradition started in the 1870s and became a trademark for this part of Denmark in the years up to 1920. During this period Southern Jutland belonged to Germany and there was only few possibilities for ‘being Danish’ together with fellow countrymen. Thus, the gatherings around the traditional afternoon tea and coffee became popular.

The Sønderjysk Pas is for holders of a pass received at Golden Days in Copenhagen in May 2021. Remember to write your pass number in the comments field and bring your pass with you to the traditional spread of cakes and coffee in Gram. We reserve the right to cancel any bookings without a pass number. Note that a maximum of 6 tickets per pass can be purchased.
