Glamping am Marsk Camp

Marsk Camp is a brand new campsite that opened in summer 2021. Here you’ll find glamping tents, a camper van site, restaurant, ice-cream café, crazy golf and of course the new tower, Marsktårnet, which is due to open in August 2021.

The glamping tents are 24 square metres in size, and, in addition to a bedroom with a 140x200 bed, you find a cosy living room with two sofa beds that can be folded out to sleep a further 4 people. The tent can therefore accommodate 4 or 6 people – though max. 4 adults.
The tent also contains a refrigerator, electric kettle, electric hob with saucepan and frying pan, as well as tableware and cutlery for 6 people. Adjacent to the tent is a private wooden terrace on which you have your own gas barbecue and garden furniture – perfect for a pleasant evening with a great view of the marshes.

Although there’s no shower or toilet in the tent, you don’t have to worry about sharing with other guests, as you have access to your own shower and toilet that are located close to your tent.

Marsk Camp is situated in the beautiful marshland of Tøndermarsk close to the Wadden Sea, which has been admitted onto UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Therefore remember to bring walking boots and/or bikes so that you can get out and explore the surroundings.
The marshes are characterised by their rich bird life, but you may also be lucky enough to find various edible herbs. How about going on a trip where you can gather a few extra herbs for dinner. Perhaps lady luck will be smiling on you and you’ll find lingonberries or cranberries that can add a delightful finishing touch to a dessert.

If you don’t wish to spend your holiday doing the cooking, there’s also a lovely restaurant at Marsk Camp. On arrival you can order breakfast or tapas for 2 for DKK 250, or otherwise sample one of the many delicious dishes on the menu.
